Aditya Gupta is a high school student at the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai. Driven by a multidisciplinary academic focus, Aditya is passionate about the convergences of applied mathematics, environmental science, and informatics/sensing. Fascinated by how data can be leveraged to address complicated challenges related to sustainability, his academic focus lies specifically in urban resilience, exploring how predictive environmental informatics can be leveraged to tackle urban crises such as flooding and waste mismanagement. This initiative represents the practical application of his academic interests: using applied mathematics and ground-level action to build a more resilient, equitable, and sustainable Mumbai.
